MORETON Bay Regional Council will undertake a bushfire hazard reduction burn at Orpheus Place Park, Burpengary, on Friday, 11 August, 2017, weather permitting.   

Residents at Burpengary and surrounding suburbs may notice smoke both during and after the burn.   

Residents and businesses should keep away from the burn during and in the days following the event.   

Asthmatics and people sensitive to smoke are advised to stay indoors and keep their windows and doors closed.   Motorists in the area should drive to the conditions.  

Pets and livestock should be secured, if necessary.
