ROLL UP, roll up for the annual St Michael's College Fair.
In its 31st year, the fair is set to be bigger and better than ever, possible only with the support of the wonderful school community.
Acting fair co-ordinator Angela Moore said they're very excited to open the gates to the rest of the community once again.
"It's an amazing event that brings the whole school together - it's also the major fundraising event for the year,” she said.
This year laser tag has been added into the ride wristband price, along with all the old favourites including jumping castles, dodgem cars and the giant fun house.
Angela said the school's incredible community of parents had helped with everything from baking for cake stalls and pricing more than 40 trestle tables of donations for the trash and treasure stall, to convening food stalls and supervising rides on the day.
"All profits raised from the fair go directly back into our school community and providing valuable resources for the children,” she said.
"In previous years, the fundraising efforts of the Parents and Friends have purchased sporting uniforms, band uniforms, ICT and science resources, wireless microphones and portable PA equipment, computers, playground upgrades and improved classroom technology.”
With more than 40 displays of local businesses, organisations and community groups there's lots for the grown-ups to see and do too.
There will be plenty of give-aways including multiple holidays, bikes, a Samsung phone worth more than $1400 and ballet tickets.
Catch heaps of live entertainment throughout the day and unwind with a coffee and something tasty while the children are entertained.
"We have amazing Asian food, nachos, curries, burgers, loads of prizes and the best doughnuts ever,” Angela said.
This year's fair is proudly brought to you by major sponsor Assurance Consulting.
Gates open at St Michael's College at 9:30am on Saturday, May 27.
Enjoy unlimited rides by pre-purchasing a wristband for $28 or $35 on the day.
