On August 31, a 25-year-old Deception Bay woman was intercepted by police on Captain Cook Parade, Deception Bay. The woman was allegedly driving a motor vehicle while unlicensed.

Further checks by police revealed that this was allegedly the fourth offence of unlicenced driving for the woman and in accordance with vehicle impoundment legislation, the woman was issued with a Vehicle Production Notice, requiring her to produce the vehicle to Deception Bay Police Station for forfeiture to the State.

A short time later, police intercepted the same woman, allegedly driving a different vehicle while unlicensed. The woman was issued with a further Vehicle Production Notice in relation to the second vehicle, and both vehicles have subsequently been forfeited to the State.

The woman was arrested and charged with alleged unlicensed driving and is due to appear before the Redcliffe Magistrates Court on September 27.
